The Immersive Experience of Fine Arts in Tempe Education
Tempe Elementary School District believes that including arts education in elementary and middle schools equips students with essential skills and qualities that extend beyond the classroom and prepares them for a dynamic and interconnected world.
Both performing arts in theater and music, coupled with visual arts that include painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and photography, create a well-rounded program for all students.

Visual Arts
Our robust visual arts programs invite students to discover art that spans mediums and styles. We open our doors to from working local artists to expand students' experience with visual arts.

- Instruments provided at NO CHARGE for all students enrolled in an instrumental music class!
- A variety of visual arts elective courses are available at all middle schools.
- Partnership with City of Tempe Arts and Schools Grants provides arts programs throughout the district with funds for specialty arts equipment and access to professional artists, clinicians, or arts organizations.
